A Branch of a Branch
Joshua Del Rosso - known throughout the cannabis world as Josh D - is one of the central figures behind the rise of OG Kush. In 1996, in the wake of California's Proposition 215, the surviving Kush cutting was carried from Florida to Los Angeles, where Josh grew it, cloned it, refined it, and put it in the hands of the city. What followed was the cultivar that defined a generation of cannabis.
Over the next three decades, Josh built a legacy that runs through many of the best-known modern OG lines - Tahoe, SFV, Ghost, Larry, and their descendants. His original cuts have been preserved, his breeding work has produced new standards, and his name is the one growers, breeders, and connoisseurs reference when they talk about the real thing.
Today Josh D operates across eight states (California, Washington, Virginia, Florida, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Maryland and Pennsylvania), partners with legacy growers and dispensaries internationally, and continues to release new genetics under his name.
